Re: [GB] Reinventing Gods powers.
Thats really interesting... I really like the feel of the Golden Apple. I dont know if the second ball and the Golden Apple together might get too crazy, but I wonder if crazy is what we need :) I also like the Trojan War idea. Sorry I've been incommunicado for a few days... things have been a littl...

Re: When should we play next?
Yup, sorry all. I COULD make it happen tomorrow night, but I feel like I've been really winging things lately. I know that things are going to get complicated soon, and I'd like to be a little bit more prepared. Three weeks from now would be ideal. On the 19th, I will try to be on if people just wa...

Re: [GB] I had a dream...
There was an article published YEARS ago about what Magic: The Gathering would look like if it had been a sci-fi/fantasy game rather than a straight-up fantasy... your dream reminds me of that :) I think I can find at least a card from it... http://magic.wizards.com/sites/mtg/files/image_legacy_migr...

Re: Games We Didn't Like...but why they're good anyway.
My memory might be a bit foggy, but I think I won our game of LDRH without ever having entered combat.

Re: Games We Didn't Like...but why they're good anyway.
I think the other thing that played very strongly against LDRH was the way that it was presented, at least to our group. That guy wanted to be ANYWHERE other than where he was right then. I get it, everyone has bad days, but his staggering level of disinterest made it harder to find the roses amongs...

Re: [GB] Reinventing Gods powers.
Just tossing it out there, as it popped into my head.
I'm not generally in favor of scoring points for anything but goals, but if we need scoring to be more dynamic in a couple of months, its something to keep on the very back burner.
Cheers!

Alright... there's no bad ideas, right?
What if you gained a point when you made it all the way through your deck?

Re: [GB] Hera: Curses and Blessing Stealing
So I was thinking today. Hera is likely to be the "take that" God deck, so would the card that I brainstormed last night, that returns an unattended Godball to Mt. Olympus make sense for her? I think it works, flavor-wise, and it seems like breaking momentum is her kind of thing. I've got ...

Re: Spellbook Contents
I thought of that, but I was pretty sure Darcs said his skin seemed to be made of mithril, rather than simply dyed... I'd be curious to find out though.

Re: [GB] Design Considerations
I was actually leaning towards doing Egyptian Gods next. I find that particular pantheon fascinating, and while I DO love Norse mythology, I think Egypt is a little more compelling from a gameplay perspective. If we were going to do Norse next, I'd prefer to focus on the more esoteric (read non-Marv...

Re: Items from Ordikon
If it was a 5th level or 6th level Pearl, I'd give serious consideration to claiming it or selling it outright, but a 2nd level Pearl is going to be way more useful for the casters who cast a ton of 2nd level spells or the casters for whom spellcasting is a secondary class power.

Re: Items from Ordikon
As a player, I feel like Anna often lays claim to any items even obliquely related to spellcasting, and MORE than half the group are spellcasters of one sort or another. Also, 2nd level spells are rarely a slot that Anna uses up completely, while Cure Moderate is probably used MUCH more often by our...

Items from Ordikon
The items that were gathered from Ordikon, the metal-clad mage, are as follows: Mithril Quarterstaff - a +2 Quarterstaff which provides a +2 bonus to Intelligence. It also allows for the casting of the following spells: Bull's Strength - 1 charge Enlarge Person - 1 charge Telekinesis - 3 charges Fle...

Re: Calendar (Spring/Summer 2018)
We did. There was the end of the battle with the metal mage, who we subsequently learned was named Ordikon. We did some research, healed, rested, and then opened the next door to find a VERY large demon with the face of a boar. Dothan started off by talking to it and we found out that it had been tr...
