Re: [MtG] Godswar: The Arena

This last one was really interesting to see play out, because I was convinced Hades was in for it because he really didnt have anything to deal with the big giants, but it seemed like neither the Boldwyr Intimidator or the Countryside Crusher (I love that guy) played measurable roles in the victory....

Re: Fantastic Four

In the Ultimates universe, Reed became a villain, if I remember correctly. As I recall, Reed became a villian fairly late in the story, after his childhood home was blown up. He was the same somewhat annoying character for the majority of the run, but I could be remembering incorrectly. One of the ...

How about Son Of The Mask? I never saw it, but I do enjoy the original when it comes on from time to time.

I got sick yesterday... after browsing the new forums unprotected. Clearly I have learned my lesson and will only browse with a 2-micron mask and nitrile gloves from this point forward.

I have been known to call my podcasts co-hosts racists during recording when the topic of discussion has nothing to do with race... I'm not sure if Pete edits those out though :D

Re: Favorite Superhero Movie

I was really into comics when I was younger, which may be why I don't like the X-Men movies as much as I enjoy the Marvel Cinematic Universe, as X-Men and Iron Man were my favorites growing up, and I didnt really like the way they treated some of the X-Men in the earlier films. That being said, I ha...

Re: Political "debates"

My brother in law is an ardent libertarian, but I have difficulty "debating" with him, as he is a big fan of guys like Michael Savage and Alex Jones, and as a result, is generally not a fan of things like... factual information. One thing he says, and this is a refrain I hear often, is tha...

Re: What Are You Reading?

I have a couple books that I'm partially through at the moment. I never finish one and start another. I usually start one, put it down, pick up another one, and continue the cycle. They're all good, but none of them are new... Tom Clancy's Red Rabbit Jonathan Lopez' The Man Who Made Vermeers - A rea...

Re: Political "debates"

I agree to the extent that I am REALLY not a fan of any regulatory body saying what it is and is not okay to do to your own person. While I am personally not a fan, I have many friends and some family members who, over the years, have been known to smoke weed from time to time. In our state, current...

Political "debates"

Okay, so I posted this on Facebook a few minutes ago. I'd love to get some actual conversation about the topic here. I have a legitimate question to pose to all of you out there who are politically-minded. Do you honestly believe that insulting those you do not agree with improves your position? If ...

Re: First Non-D&D RPG

I'm fairly sure that my first Non-D&D RPG was Rifts. Something about that has still stuck with me... was great fun. Along the way, I've also played in or GMed Star Wars, Shadowrun, Shattered Worlds (a GURPS-like homebrew a buddy of mine ran in college), and Call of Cthulu. I had a couple of budd...

Goku. 100%.

Unless we're talking Injustice: Gods Among Us Yellow Lantern Superman... He might stand a chance.

Re: Where do we go?

I'm in favor of doing all of these things, at some juncture. I'd lean towards doing Hook Mountain first, that's just me. I understand the pull of finding Lamatar and fulfilling the mission you guys were given by the Lord Mayor.
