Re: Tahlvin Will Probably Kill This Unkillable Thread
I walked through a county courthouse square On a park bench an old man was sitting there I said, your old courthouse is kinda run down He said, naw, it'll do for our little town I said, your old flagpole has leaned a little bit And that's a ragged old flag you got hanging on it He said, have a seat,...

Ok, here is my latest fascination. This video has nothing to do with the song...I think It lloks like a formerly dead noble or leader is raised from the dead by his loyal followers through ritual Next he journeys to the grave of the person he loves and performs the ritual to raise her, sacrificing h...

We got a Krupps It makes very hot water very fast. Great for tea and coffee and hot chocolate. We got tired of the Keurig...it sits unused and unloved....watching us and our new Krupps...like the older sibling jealously watching parents coo at the newborn.

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord;
He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored;
He hath loosed the fateful lightning of His terrible swift sword;
His truth is marching on.
picking up some tater tots soon....thanks for the tip.

Getting more reports of workers protesting at facilities where they either could be making ventilators or protective gear but are not (and being laid off or hours reduced) or are being asked to work in violation of public health advice on social distancing. It's quite a thing, so much happening at ...

It could have been 40,000 deaths in Wuhan. I don't know the source but it was linked by Dan Rather. https://www.rfa.org/english/news/china/wuhan-deaths-03272020182846.html I saw this one a few weeks back: Their numbers jive with your article's numbers https://www.taiwannews.com.tw/en/news/3871594

Re: Relationships in Quarantine
Well, weekend at home #1 is complete. my wife and I "negotiated" over what we wanted to do. -retaining wall site excavated, blocks laid, gravel and dirt moved to fill in -back yard tilled and raked -both areas sown in grass and covered with wheat straw -back is still recovering logged some...

In the desert sun every step that you take could be the final one
In the burning heat hanging on the edge of destruction
You can't stop the pain of your children crying out in your head
They always said that the living would envy the dead
Master Blaster runs Bartertown!

I am going to be able to have 4 day weekends all the way until June 30th! Trying to stay positive because it could have been a lay-off. On my days off I hope to make time for learning some RPG rules and running a game for my kids. I will be able to make up for years and years of sleep deficits by ge...

I think I may need to move to Stan's neighborhood. He's got a zoo there. As a side thought I am now inspired to start doing a little bit of wildlife photography with some of my new free time. I usually take a break when working outside (especially if the task is tiring , tedious, or dreadful) to loo...

Friends all tried to warn me
But I held my head up high
All the time they warned me
But I only passed them by
They all tried to tell me
But I guess I didn't care
I turned my back
And left them standing there

Re: This Happened
On the way to work there is a long straightaway (long for Georgia backroads...about a 1/4 mile) and then I saw 6 small bright green lights bouncing in pairs...at first I thought dogs, then cats or puppies....Nope! It was a raccoon family. It was nice to see nature being normal
