Re: What's YOUR problem?
Thanks, folks. I woke up cranky today, clearly. I'm very much goi g to be okay. Even have started gathering the long term dry goods and frozen foods, just in case. I would still be happy to Skype cello lessons, though.... Especially if it also involves dogs barking *wink* Does it matter that I don'...

Re: This Happened
My house was rather rude to me this morning. When I was getting in the shower and adjusting the water temperature, a drop of water that I would estimate was about 32.5 degrees F dripped from the exhaust fan onto the small of my back! Needless to say that was rather annoying! I got hit twice more by ...

Re: This Happened
Wow! That's terrifying! On a lighter note... an update on sewer cam... it turns out I must have misunderstood the guy who did the original work. It is more of a "they bring a camera and look at the interior of the pipe to see what the problem is so you know what to watch for" kind of thing...

Re: This Happened
Interesting that you should mention tree trimming... One of the things that the mapping of our sewer line did show was the fact that one of our trees, which has ALWAYS been far too close to the foundation of our house and is probably responsible for the fact that we get water in the basement in that...

Re: This Happened
So... the power company hired a contractor to upgrade the gas lines in our neighborhood. We received a notice about it in the mail a while back, so we pretty much knew it was going to happen. As they started working, it was pretty clear they were making a huge mess of every street they were working ...

Re: What's YOUR problem?
The real surprise was that the other two dogs actually cared that the Yorkie got himself trapped in the bathroom. With as much of a little dick that dog can be to the other two, you'd think they would think, "AHHH! Peace and quiet! Let's just leave the little prick to rot in there!" Edit: ...

Re: What's YOUR problem?
Actually, the problem with animals and getting shut in rooms can be a bit of a hassle. The other day I was working from home in the basement of our house, where my computer is, and in the late afternoon the dogs started making a fuss. One of them was scratching at the door to the basement and the ot...

Re: This Happened
I don't know if ALL soda machines do this, but the one in our break room at work has this strange feature... it's refrigeration unit is really loud, so you can't help but notice when it's running, which is almost all the time. However, when you dispense a bottle of soda, it shuts off. What? Was that...

This is much tougher than I thought it would be. Freshman year to early Sophomore year of college... the time when I met my wife, my best man... his wife... (who came close to being the girl who broke up both of our relationships... and later came out as polyamorous. She probably really had feelings...
