Doubtless emboldened by their successful erasure of the history of Aunt Jemima, a real-life woman who made pancakes and profited enormously from the sale of her recipe to a flour company, according to many popular internet memes.*
* This is utterly false, I add for anyone who needs the Sarcasm Hand. Indeed, it revives an old racist myth the company tried to peddle about itself.
