I am so excited! So much fun!
Me and Eliahad and DM- and Mrs. Darcs will be there. We'll be hanging with Nelly. I suspect we'll be lucky enough to meet up with Stan and Zen again. Is anyone else planning to make an appearance? I want to make sure that everyone who WANTS to meet up has a chance to.
We've got stuff planned, but I also want time for hanging out and socializing. Sleep be damned!

There's a party at my house either before or after or both, except it might be a party of one and it's a bit of a drive for people who are only going to Indianapolis. 
I'm a bit late on the draw as there are few hotel rooms left in the entire city. Ron went to this once and therefore feels like he had the experience and doesn't need to go back - or let's say, he would if it were in our town, but won't put in effort toward it. He would rather go camping. Le Sigh.

I will try to get there again! Maybe even with some younger ones in tow... My son and his girlfriend started playing D&D this year, including the group of kids at their college making a Pokemon RPG using D20 (I think they are using D20 for it...) I don't know if they would want to be seen with boring old dad though... I still have hopes of getting my daughter to come for one last hurrah before the new school year as well, especially since she has some friends who have gone in the past, including at least one who cosplays. Somehow I doubt that she will have time...

This year I am going to try to reserve the Drury inn for next year and make Ron go to the thing. The Drury Inn btw is the best hotel chain I have ever encountered. If you can ever stay in one, DO. Every afternoon, free popcorn, free drinks (liquor), free pop, free DINNER... it's just astonishing.

The closer we get to the actual weekend, the less likely it looks that Stan and I will make it... If I do make it, it will be on Sunday for part of the day, then I'll head home fairly early. With the combination of my back being pretty bad and travel food generally not agreeing with me ... it may be safer to try another year...
